Help Improve Your Baby’s Sleep In Just 7 Days With JOHNSON’S® 3-Step Bedtime® Routine

Some nights can still be a struggle with getting our little ones down but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, routine plays a major role in the length and quality of sleep. With this blog post, I’ll walk you through JOHNSON’S® super easy 3-step BEDTIME® routine that’s helped Knox’s sleep.

 

1. Bath Time

We begin Knox’s bedtime routine with a soothing warm bath with JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® Bubble Bath. It makes some pretty big bubbles which turns bath time into fun time (for all of us). We also love adding in a few toys and books for him to play with so he can learn and have fun at the same time.

2. Massage

3. Quiet Time

After Knox’s jammies are on, we settle in our big rocking chair, dim the lights and play calming music while we read to him. We choose two short books and read them quietly while snuggling up and giving him a few short hugs and squeezes before he goes to bed. We find this has really improved our bonding time with him and because he is so calm, he really takes in what we’re reading to him.

These three easy steps have been so helpful with Knox’s bedtime routine and have really made it special for us as parents to bond over him. I even find it helps us personally unwind after a long day, helping us to relax and enjoy this time spent together. As soon as I see him begin to rub his eyes or even yawn, we know this is the time to turn the lights even lower, hand him his warm bottle and watch him doze off to sleep.
