Nashville is an incredible city! Yes, they’re known for their iconic music and food but how about murals? We recently visited Nashville and I couldn’t get over the beautiful murals that were painted all around their buildings. No matter which burrow you visited, there was a cute wall just waiting to be snapped. Since I was only there for a day, I’ve rounded up some of the murals I found while wandering around Nashville.
Five Daughters Bakery
1110 Caruthers Ave.
There are several locations of this bakery but I think my favourite would be this one. It was quiet, tucked away in the burbs and they had the cutest white brick with pastel-painted doughnuts on it. Defintely a cute spot to grab a doughnut, snap a pic, then enjoy! By the way, these were one of the best doughnuts I’ve ever tasted!
Love Shack Fancy
2301 12th Ave. S.
This gorgeous baby pink wall was the perfect backdrop! Shaded by the sun and located in an area that wasn’t busy at all, you’ll have a ton of time to take your perfect photo and then pop into the store after for a quick peek at all their gorgeous dresses. This was fully shaded at around 11 am so if you’re looking to stay out of the sun when snapping pics, this is the best time to go or wait until sunset!
Draper James
2608 12th Ave. S.
Not only is this store absolutely charming, but the blue and white striped wall on the side also makes for the perfect photo op! It was a little busy since the classic ‘Nashville’ sign is painted on the opposite wall facing which most wanted a photo of so waiting your turn will have to be expected when taking snaps. Another thing to note, it is full sun in the afternoon, so I recommend showing up at this location before noon!
Graduate Hotel / White Limozeen Roof Top Bar
101 20th Ave N
This entire hotel is Instagram worthy but the real treat is the White Limozeen Bar at the top. It opens at 3 pm on weekdays and 10 am on weekends so I recommend you show up right when it opens because it gets quite busy with people taking photos and having their cocktails at the top. You do need reservations to sit inside but who wants to sit inside when you have a rooftop filled with pink umbrellas and chairs? Now, unfortunately, the wind was so strong that day they removed the umbrellas but we still managed to make it work!
Also, if you’re ordering a cocktail (which I highly recommend) order the ‘Queen of the Rodeo’
Drippy Lips
Hillsboro Village / 1814 21st Avenue S.
I just had to pay a visit to the drippy lips wall. This was one of my favourites when looking up places to visit. It was so much fun and to be honest, the entire strip of Hillsboro Village was just beautiful to walk around in. There were so many boutiques, cafes, and restaurants I wanted to try but we just didn’t have the time. I would defintely come back to this area of Nashville to walk around again!
