Okay, so by now you’ve noticed how much I adore Chicwish. Almost every other post on this blog or on my social platforms is something of theirs that I’m wearing. So, I wanted to give you an honest review of Chicwish including how their clothes fit, the quality, and the price point.
It’s no surprise, their clothing has consistently impressed me – from the quality to the fit. Like any other brand, there are a few items that sometimes don’t quite fit exactly how I’d like them to. My most common issue (and this happens a lot with most brands) is the length of their sleeves. I have really long arms and oftentimes, sleeves come a bit too short and sit awkward around my wrists.
There are some jackets from Chicwish that fit perfectly and I have no issues but there’s the odd one that can be too short. In these cases, I’ve usually worn a blouse underneath that has some detailing on the cuffs which detract from the jacket being too short. I’ve never had this issue with any of their sweaters, blouses, or shirts – in fact, their tops fit true-to-size! The length is always exact and everything you see on their site, measurements and all, are exact. For their trousers and skirts, I usually size up – this is quite common and I’ve never run into issues with the length of their trousers or skirts.
Now let’s move on to their dresses – I cannot tell you enough how much I LOVE their dresses. Their prints, their styles – all absolutely stunning. And the fit? Always perfect. I have dresses from them that have lasted years because of their quality. I never have issues with them and the fit is always as the website says. When it comes to quality, I’ve always been impressed with this brand – no button has come loose, nothing has unraveled, sweaters have not pilled.
That being said, a lot of you mention they’re on the pricey end because their site is in US dollars. Yes, they are more than their competitors but when you consider the quality, I don’t think it’s far off from what they should be charging. I really love this brand and appreciate their seasonal selections and love how they bring back old favourites. Their pieces are timeless, items that you will wear for years to come because it’s not about fast fashion with Chicwish, it’s about class and quality.
