Summer is finally here and with that long winter and spring under lockdown, we can finally get out and enjoy some of our favourite things again. During those perfect summer weekends, we always love to hit up a local farmers’ market where we stock up on fresh fruit for the family and flowers for me (don’t even get me started on how much I love summer flowers) and we wander around. It’s the perfect opportunity to make the weekends and weeknights count when you have longer days that are warm and comfortable. Speaking of comfortable, this perfect outfit from Hatley is literally one of my favourites.
These cropped wide-leg pants are soft and fit like a dream thanks to the lightweight and breathable cotton. I love the high waist and let’s talk about the details around the end of the pants – so gorgeous!
Moving on up to this stunning blouse called the Cindy Shirt, if you look closely, you’ll notice the embroidered floral pattern that I absolutely love! The lightweight oxford cotton fabric also makes this blouse incredibly breathable and comfortable. I usually choose to wear it tucked in or tied in the front (especially when wearing high-waisted pants or skirts).
Moving on to those perfect summer evenings, we enjoy our walks in the area especially by the water where all of the sailboats are stationed for the night.
