Embracing winter in the warmest woolly layers.
Winter is usually the season when everyone tries to escape. It’s cold, dark and depressing which gives people the urge to take flight to brighter backdrops, warmer temperatures and fewer layers. But, there is something to be said about the morning after a snowfall where everything is covered in white. It doesn’t happen very often in the city of Toronto, but when it does, people usually often embrace it and take as many photos as they can showing that the city is more than just concrete.
What I like most is the snow creates the perfect neutral backdrop to whatever you’re wearing. It sort of becomes this blank palette so whatever you’re wearing seems to pop.
Since the temperatures had dipped well below, adding woolly layers on helped block the cold. This is the ideal outfit when running errands throughout the week (hello mat leave and hello no more business formal attire) it’s warm, cozy and comfortable – three things you need when trying to get a baby in and out of the car as fast as possible. Baby or not, this is the perfect attire for the winter we’re having and great for layering.
