Spending the day picking dahlias on the blog.
One of my favourite seasons is fall – not just for the cooler temperatures, changing leaves and lots of comfort food but because of the flowers this season produces. Dahlias are popping up everywhere and in every colour you could imagine. Our visit to this Andrews Scenic Acres, in particular, has fields and fields of dahlias for you to pick through. Every year, we make it our own tradition to come back and wander through these fields building our own arrangements.
And may I just add that this dress is the perfect piece to do so in. Since our falls are on the warmer side, a long sleeve dress might seem like a terrible idea but this dress is very light and airy so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing much. Plus, the colours of this dress match the changing leaves and fall vibes.
