This girl has luscious locks thanks to the folks at Studio Fontana and Matrix’s line of hair care products. I’ll take you through my in-salon and at-home experience using the Total Results products and Style Link products.
My Matrix Salon Experience
Nothing beats that feeling of walking into a salon and getting the royal treatment of a full blowout. But when your hair is being done by one of the best Matrix Colour Artists, you know you’ll be walking out of that salon with luscious locks.
My first in-salon experience began with the Biologe ColorCare Raw Shampoo & Conditioner. This duo gives you that healthy-looking shine but it isn’t the only thing you can feel good about. This dynamic duo is free of sulfates and silicones, which leaves your hair feeling clean, silky and smooth to the touch.
The second in-salon experience was nothing short of the first. Using the Total Results Re-Bond 3-Step System, my hair felt healthy and revived after the first wash. My Matrix Colour Artist carefully walked me through the step-by-step process educating me on what this amazing line was doing to revive some of that over processed and weakened hair.

Matrix Total Results
What does it do? This three-step routine helps fortify weakened and over processed hair, strengthening it from root to tip.
Step 1: Total Results (The Re-Bond, Strength Rehab System) Shampoo
Using only a loonie size of this shampoo, gently massage into wet hair and let it lather. My Matrix Colour Artist also recommended that if the bubbles are a bit weak after the first rinse, add another Loonie size and lather up again. This ensures the hair is clean so the conditioners can do their job.
Step 2: Total Results (The Re-Bond, Strength Re-Hab System) Pre-Conditioner
Use this pre-conditioner once a week and massage into roots and ends until smooth. It’s recommended to leave the pre-conditioner on for at least 5 – 10 minutes. Make sure not to rinse – the conditioner goes on next!
Step 3: Total Results (The Re-Bond, Strength Rehab System) Conditioner
The last step to this process is your final conditioner. Layer on top of the pre-conditioner and massage into hair then rinse. You can do this at least once a week for extra smooth hair that builds strength and shine.
For the rest of the week, you can simply use this as your main conditioner to go along with your Total Results Shampoo.

Apply when your hair is damp for a tousled look. I also find it adds the right amount of volume when working it into your roots.

After I’ve straightened or curled my hair, I lift a few sections of my hair and spray underneath to give that top layer the volume it needs. I really like that it mattifies your hair, no greasy shine and it’s lightweight so you don’t feel like you’re wearing too much product.

If you’re trying to achieve that effortless beach wave, this sea salt spray will help create that look without the sticky or crunchy feeling you get with other sea salt sprays.
Pro tip: after using the Air Dry Wild Boho, separate your damp hair in two or four sections and loosely braid down. Spray with Rough Me Up and either let air dry or blow dry gently. Undo the braids and you’ll have long-lasting beach waves.
