Colder temperatures are upon us and it’s only going to get colder (sorry about that) but this just gives us the chance to get smart with our layering so we can wear our favourite bases longer without having to bundle ourselves up with an oversized coat.
Adding a big woolly scarf to a turtleneck or even a puffy vest is one great way of adding extra warmth. Accessories like hats, gloves, and scarves give us that additional layer so dealing with the crisp chill is manageable.
I’m still holding on to cropped pants and I am a firm believer in wearing them until the bitter end – basically until there’s snow on the ground. I love these paper bag pants, they’re soft and comfortable. Again, another great pair for the office or the weekend.
So if you’re like me and not ready to hide under a coat, try the layering effect!
