The tourist

When it comes to exploring a new city – comfort is always key.

It was my first time exploring the city of Boston and I had no idea what to expect. When you’re travelling in the middle of winter, it’s hard to pack for comfort, warmth and style. Luckily, we were quite fortunate to have mild weather so thick sweaters, wool coats and a few warm accessories were perfect.

This look was inspired by the neighbourhood, Beacon Hill. This historic site is home to Boston’s upper class. Lit lanterns, cobblestone roads, and perfectly maintained doorsteps are the norm in this charming neighbourhood.

I decided to dress in my wool coat, comfy layers, and of course, my Burberry scarf just to add a bit of warmth and a whole lot of style.

As you can see in the photos, I had a lot of fun in this shoot and wandering around the city in general. With its history, friendly people and amazing food, we had a wonderful time and have already talked about our return.  I can’t wait to share my entire trip in an upcoming blog post soon with you guys.
