These beautiful blush layers add warmth and detail to this winter weekend look.
I don’t know about you but during the winter months, I tend to get into these slumps of throwing on a frumpy knitted sweater and jeans and calling it a day (not that there’s anything wrong with that). But sometimes my weekend plans require me to step out in public and that would mean I have to at least put some effort into how I’m dressed.
I have to admit, it does require some effort to try on different layers and seeing what works. I figured I start with a turtleneck as my base and add on from there. This dainty pink tank would obviously give me hypothermia if I wore it alone so I thought wearing it over the turtleneck would add some detail and depth to the look. I’ve paired this with trousers for work but I thought I’d try it out with girlfriend jeans to make it more casual.
Throwing a wool coat over and some booties to keep those ankles warm was the perfect addition to adding on that bit of warmth as well. And let’s not forget those breezy days we’ve been having recently where a hat is required. This wool hat is seriously one of my favourite accessories and keeps the hair in check.
