Fall weekends call for apple picking and flower picking. Here are just some of the highlights from our weekend.
Weekends are usually spent with the family and although the entire family couldn’t make it out, a few of us were able to get together for a day of apple picking and wandering through rows and rows of flowers.
We started the afternoon at William’s Orchid, where we hand picked some of the juiciest apples. Not sure if we ate more than we picked but all of us left completely full. Just down the road, we ended up at Andrew’s Orchard where the dahlia fields were in full bloom. We wandered through rows of fresh corn, pumpkins, and sunflowers.
It was the perfect afternoon spent outside in the perfect temperature. We shared a lot of laughs and felt satisfied that we spent the entire day in the fresh air taking pictures of everything we came across. It was definitely a nice change from our usual routine of lounging around inside.
I’d love to hear how you enjoy your fall weekends. Let me know!
