Elegance and class pretty much sums up our high tea experience at St. Ermin’s Hotel by Autograph Hotels.
Champagne, savoury treats, freshly baked scones, jams and delectable desserts – all of this in one sitting at the St. Ermin’s Hotel for high tea. Everything tasted as good as it looked. The only issue? Trying to finish it all but how could we not? This is one tradition I wish we had in Toronto. What I learned is that high tea is all about taking your time, sipping your tea slowly eating one sandwich at a time (this was a struggle) and gossiping with your bestie, or in my case your sissy – same thing! I loved this experience at St. Ermin’s Hotel and everything in the tea room just boasted class. The purple curtains, big comfy chairs, the beautiful china that was served to us and the relaxing ambiance of the music playing in the background with spoons stirring and clanking around the tea cups – it felt like we were in another time. We enjoyed every minute of it!
