Lipstick roundup: 5 shades of spring

Spring’s in full bloom so it’s time to put away those hum drum colours and give our lips a boost of colour.

Take a look at my five fav’s for this spring’s round up.

1.) MAC – Russian Red

Red lips will always be forever on trend. This sexy vivacious red can classify any outfit and bring in your inner Coco Chanel.

2.) NARS – Schiap

You can have your cake and eat it too.  The bright colour is bold, but not in a dark, borderline gothic way. It flatters all skin shades and makes for an epic daytime lip.

3.) Marc Jacobs – Wham

This bold orange definitely deserves a standing ovation. This subtle but colourful pigment lets you add more or wear it subtle. You decide on how bright you want it.

4.) Bite Beauty – Beetroot

This super rich and and moisturizing lipstick is bold and beautiful. The deep beetroot colour adds a bit of sultry and sexiness all year round, this one is a keeper.

5.) MAC – Hue

This lighter pink nude is a step up from all those regular nudes. It’s super creamy and glides over lips easily so you’re getting a highly pigmented product without the drying elements of a lipstick.

And that’s a wrap! Really, a lot of these lipsticks depend on your skin tone and what you’re comfortable wearing. I really enjoy bright and bold colours to spruce up any ordinary out.
