Diono Quantum Stroller Review

Read through my review of our Diono Quantum Stroller on today’s post.

If you would have asked me several months ago what we were looking for in a stroller, I really wouldn’t have been able to give you a confident answer. To be honest, shopping for a stroller was overwhelming for us. We didn’t know where to start, and it only seemed that everywhere we looked we had to sacrifice style for versatility.

Weeks turned into months of researching and test driving strollers but we were never impressed with what we found in-store or online. Then we came across Diono, a reputable brand that prides itself on safety, quality and of course, style. They had a wide variety of stylish strollers that seemed to fit with what we were looking for. The Diono Quantum Classic Multi-Mode Travel Stroller was the perfect multi-use stroller for us since it would take us from newborn to toddler  – something we had as top marks on our list. Not only that, we finally found a stroller that was stylish, it had all the bells and whistles we wanted with the main functionalities of what we needed.

The Diono Quantum stroller carries many features that make it so easy to use – especially for first-time moms like me. The main benefit I love from the Quantum is that it’s a 3-in-1 stroller that grows with your baby. The bassinet carriage allows you to stroll around effortlessly with your newborn and then transforms into a toddler seat by connecting only 4 clips. There’s no storage needed so this space-saving feature is perfect for condo dwellers like us where storage is limited.

What I also love is the ease of use. Putting the stroller together was a sinch and the perfect one-hand fold makes it easy for you to fold and unfold when taking it out of the vehicle.

Another major benefit is the versatility of allowing your car seat to be attached to the base. If you prefer to use the car seat instead of the bassinet, the adapters that are included make it the perfect travel system (compatible with Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, and Nuna).

The one-step brake also ensures baby is in one place securely and only one foot is needed to ensure the stroller is locked in tight. No more trying to find the brakes, the locking mechanism is easy to find and a simple step on, step off is all that’s needed.

With the unpredictable Canadian winters, the four-tier, eclipse canopy protects against all elements with a cute peek-a-boo window, ventilation panel for airflow, and pull down sun visor so baby is all set – no matter the weather.

Some of the other benefits I’m enjoying is the extra large basket that’s ideal for storage and towing around the diaper bag. I also love the coffee holder that is completely removable, so whenever you’re in need of a pick-me-up, the coffee holder fits ALL Starbuck sizes ;).

As we continue to use the Diono Quantum Stroller throughout the changing seasons, I’ll be doing a follow-up post on how it handles in the snow and some of the other features we haven’t had a chance to use yet – stay tuned!
