Summer days were meant to frolick in lavender fields while in the prettiest summer dress.
One gorgeous Saturday afternoon, we decided to leave the city and head out to the country for a little road trip. We drove out not too far to the beautiful lavender fields of Terre Bleu. As soon we got out of our car, the smells of lavender filled the air and it brought an overwhelming sense of calm, peace and quiet.
We wandered through the fields noticing all the hard-at-work bees pollinating the flowers. They didn’t bother us too much since they had their fair share of flowers to pollinate.
After a bit of wandering and picturing taking (of course), we indulged in a scoop or two of the fresh lavender ice cream. Cool, refreshing and delicious, this was the perfect treat to end our hot summer day spent in the field. If you have a chance to venture out of the city, I highly recommend visiting this beautiful place – especially before summer ends.
