Pink ruffles: Part 2

In this part 2 series, see how I turned this pink sweater from work to play with just a few additional pieces.

For those full-time gals, I feel your pain when it comes to having no time to change out of your office attire right after work.

In this post, I’ve taken the exact same top and accessories from yesterday’s blog post and transformed it into a more casual weekend look with just a few additional items. Whether you’re running straight from work to meet friends or just have enough time to go home for the quickest change of your life, not having to remove your entire outfit definitely shaves minutes off getting ready.

I kept things extremely simple and swapped black trousers for distressed jeans. I kept the exact same sweater that I featured yesterday from Shein, kept the same shoes and jewellery on but added a knitted hat and scarf just for some layering and added detail. This literally transformed my entire work outfit from yesterday’s post into a weekend-ready look.

I recommend maximizing the most out of your closet and transform a few pieces from work to weekend wear.

The nice feminine take on the soft pink top complete with some casual ruffles, plus cute toque, softens the statement of the distressed jeans, which add the more aggressive statement to the whole.. This demonstrates how different styles can complement each other into a complete look. This takes imagination to ensure it comes off well. And this collection does it perfectly. I like it very much.

P.S. The stark, bold effect of the chunky, black shoes, teamed with a soft bon bons on the toe complete the total presentation and form the anchor for the great look.
