Daily routine for glowing skin

Now that the air has changed, so has my skin. I’ve listed a few of my favourite products that help keep my skin glowing and hydrated.

As the cooler temps start to creep in and we turn on the heat, the air becomes harsh and dries out our skin. I don’t know about you but I’ve already felt the effects of it. There are some great products that I’ve been trying for the last few weeks and noticed a tremendous difference on my skin.

Here are five of my go-to products for the colder months ahead.

SOY  FACE CLEANSER – makeup remover

I actually received this as a sample from Sephora and I’m hooked. It all starts with what you take your makeup off with and this really does the trick. Just wetting your face and rubbing this all over your eyes and face removes the makeup and prevents your skin from overdrying. Plus, it smells amazing! Where to buy: Sephora

ROSE FACE MASK – mask

If you have any redness, this mask helps eliminate the red around your cheeks and nose. It’s gentle and you only need to leave it on your skin for  5 minutes. I actually have fallen asleep with it on because it goes on completely clear and feels like a cream. It does not have that drying effect that most masks have. I would recommend this for anyone who has sensitive skin and just wants to get rid of that redness. Where to buy: Sephora

LANEIGE – multiberry yoghurt repairing mask

This mask brings back the moisture in your skin and stays there for the entire day. Leave this mask on for 3 to 5 minutes and your skin will feel soft with a ton of moisture. It does leave your skin a bit oily so it’s great for dry skin, but may not be recommended for someone with oily skin. Where to buy: Sephora

CAUDALIE – soothing and glowing mist

Just before applying your moisturizer for the day or night, spritz this refreshing mist on your face 2 – 3 times for that glow under your face cream. Where to buy: Sephora

EFFACLAR DUO – acne treatment cream

If you’re like me, I have those sporadic zits that pop up once in a while. This acne fighting cream can be dabbed onto your problem spots and it works specifically on those areas. Or, you can choose to apply to the entire face. It’s a tad expensive ($24.99), but it has worked for me in the last year or so. Where to buy: Shoppers Drug Mart
